RoofQuote Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the RoofQuote Android app.

RoofQuote stores projects, customer details, roof measurements, estimates, contractor details, and preferences on your device. These project and measurement records are not uploaded to RoofQuote or DevHub servers. If you export or share a file, it is sent only to the destination you choose; that service's terms then apply.

Google Play purchases and DevHub verification

Google Play processes checkout and payment information for optional Pro purchases. RoofQuote does not receive your card number. When RoofQuote checks a purchase returned by Google Play, it sends the purchase token and product type (subscription or one-time product) to DevHub, a service operated by the app developer, for purchase verification. The request can also include a random app-install identifier, the app version, and the app's first-open date. DevHub's network infrastructure also receives ordinary connection data such as your IP address.

DevHub checks the purchase with Google Play and may retain a purchase record containing the token in encrypted form, a token hash, product and order details, purchase status, and verification timestamps, associated with the app installation. DevHub verification does not grant Pro access. RoofQuote determines Pro access from the purchase and entitlement information returned by Google Play.

Google sign-in identity is not linked to DevHub in the current app configuration. RoofQuote does not send a Google ID token, name, or email to DevHub for purchase-account association. DevHub behavioral analytics, custom event collection, device details, and locale/region collection are disabled.

Other service providers

The app includes Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics. Automatic crash reporting is enabled by the current app configuration; Google may receive crash and diagnostic information under Google's terms. No advertising SDK or Firebase Analytics collection is enabled in the current app configuration.

Retention, deletion, and choices

Local project data remains until you delete it, clear RoofQuote storage, or uninstall the app. Exported files must be deleted separately from each place where you saved or shared them. Google Play retains its transaction records under Google's policies. Clearing app data or uninstalling does not delete DevHub purchase records. The reviewed DevHub backend code does not define an automatic deletion period for purchase records; the developer has not confirmed a fixed retention period or a user-request deletion timeline. There is currently no in-app control to turn off DevHub purchase verification separately. You can choose not to make a Pro purchase. If you make a purchase, verification is initiated when RoofQuote checks a purchase reported by Google Play. Manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play; cancellation does not itself erase Google's transaction records or any DevHub record.

Children and changes

RoofQuote is a professional estimating app and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change.
